Irrigation system Maintenance & repair

• Reinstall plug at water out and inspect backflow for damages
• Slowly recharge system to avoid damage to system components and pipe
• Run a test on each zone to check for possible leaks, proper operation, and adjustment of heads/nozzles
• Look for potential pressure or flow related issues within each zone and verify proper coverage
• Verify proper electrical operating range of each zone and test for potential electrical issues within system
• Check rain sensor for proper operation 
• Program controller for proper watering based on landscape needs and current spring conditions

• Inspect water out and backflow for leaks and proper operation
• Visually inspect landscape for any areas that may not be getting the proper coverage.

• Shut off water supply to system
• Remove plug at water out to reduce risk of damage due to faulty valves or water being turned on after winterization 
• Run high volume pressure regulated compressed air through each zone (we use no less than 70CFM with a pressure of no greater than 80psi to ensure proper evacuation and reduce wear/damage to system components)
• Note any significant repairs needed for spring to allow for proper scheduling of start up 
• Turn controller off, record all final settings in controller, remove battery and unplug controller if applicable.
